The Gift of Play

Since its opening in the fall of 2024, our new playground has transformed our campus. Whether it is testing their motor skills on The Towers, climbing through the Wallholla or hanging out in the Nest with friends, our Cardinals love their new playspace.

Our New Playground

Our completely redesigned outdoor space will be enjoyed by our students and families for decades to come.

Opening Day

The new NPS playground Opening Day was a joyful celebration for all our Cardinals, filled with laughter, excitement, and community spirit. It marked the beginning of a vibrant new chapter for outdoor play and exploration at our school. We look forward to many more moments of fun, learning, and discovery for our students—both now and for years to come! Click here to view photos from Opening Day.

Playground Ribbon Cutting

On December 6, 2024, we warmly welcomed alumni, current families, and friends to joyfully celebrate the grand opening of our brand-new playground! With cheers all around, the ribbon was officially cut, marking a truly memorable and exciting moment for our entire community. Thank you to everyone who has generously supported The Gift of Play throughout our campaign. Click here to view photos from the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!

Spring Festival

Cardinal families enjoyed a festive Spring Festival at NPS, complete with inflatables, sack races, carnival games, cotton candy, and lots of fun on our new playground! With face painting, bounce houses, and buddy sightings, it truly was a perfect day to be an NPS Cardinal. Click here to view photos!

Wallholla Palooza

After months of our students enjoying the new playground, it was finally the parents' turn! Over 200 parents participated in a basketball game of chance, enjoyed delicious food, and—most importantly—helped raise funds for tuition assistance. Click here to view photos from Wallholla Palooza.

Annual Giving

Our Annual Giving program provides essential funds that support the operational needs of our school.

Your support and generosity enable NPS to provide students with an engaging academic program in a loving environment that fosters confident, skilled, curious and compassionate students with a strong sense of identity rooted in the school’s Core Values. Annual Giving donations fund competitive salaries and benefits for our talented faculty, technology upgrades, safety and security enhancements and facility improvements.
We strive for 100% parent participation in Annual Giving and ask that each family consider contributing to The Gift of Play to support Annual Giving.

From Our Head

"I am grateful to the NPS community for its strong support of our new playground.  It is wonderful to see the joy our new outdoor space brings to our students and summer campers every day. I appreciate the generous donations of our Board, parents, grandparents, alumni families and faculty and staff to bring the playground to fruition.  With the successful conclusion of the playground portion of the campaign, we now turn our attention to Annual Giving, which provides funds to the school to make technology advancements, strengthen the safety and security of our campus, enhance our physical plant, and provide the resources our teachers need to deliver a first-class NPS education.  Our community’s dedication to our mission “to focus on the foundational decade of childhood to launch lives of purpose and compassion” is inspiring, and I thank you for your support."
