All gifts to National Presbyterian School are valued and we have many convenient ways to make your gift and maximize the benefits. In addition to contributions made by check, cash, or credit card, these five options are growing in popularity:
Pledges and Recurring Donation Plan: The Development Office can set up a gift plan at your specified regular intervals with specified amounts where your credit card is automatically charged. Please call Lisa Johnson in the Development Office at 202-537-7507 to set up your plan.
Gifts of Securities: Stocks, mutual funds, or other securities are often a quick and simple way to give to NPS and can provide significant tax advantages to donors. Please consult with your financial adviser about the current advantages that may apply to you. Before you make a gift of securities contact Mary Marra, Director of Development, at 202-537-7506 or mmarra@nps-dc.org so that we can make the proper arrangements for the transfer.
Donor Advised Funds: Donor Advised Funds, also known as DAFs, are a growing trend in charitable giving. DAF grants are greatly appreciated at National Presbyterian School.
Matching Gifts: Whether a gift to NPS is made in cash, by credit card, or via the transfer of securities, many employers’ match charitable gifts, possibly doubling or tripling the value of a gift to NPS. Please contact your employer’s human resources department for information on matching gifts to schools. Subsequently, the Development Office will handle the submission of the details to the company matching program once we receive your employer’s form or website for matching information. When you submit for a matching gift you may be asked for NPS’s Federal Tax ID, which is 52-1748507.
Wire Transfers: We are happy to accept a wire transfer; please contact NPS CFO Ryan Kinney at rkinney@nps-dc.org for instructions.
