Camp Invention: WONDER

WEEK H: Monday, August 7 - Friday, August 11  (8:30 am to 3:00 pm)

Camp Invention for campers in Grades 1-6 is a week-long enrichment program designed to build Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) academic skills through a week of high-energy challenges, building and design opportunities, and concept exploration in four different modules.

WONDER, this year’s all-new program, is designed to inspire confidence and persistence while building essential STEM skills.  WONDER provides four all-new adventures in hands-on invention education where campers will:

• Take a ride through physics, engineering, invention and the art of design as they build their own mini skate park while Catching Air.
• Create their own Pop-up Venture to attract customers, make strong financial decisions and develop marketing strategies.
• Transform their very own Mimic Bot into a one of a kind stuffie as they explore the science of genetics and biomimicry.
• Take on the role of event planners as they prepare for an Invention Celebration. They’ll engineer light-up party hats, build a musical instrument, and explore the science of color!
