At National Presbyterian School, we believe that the education of children is a partnership between a school and its families, and that both children and adults deserve to be in a safe and comfortable setting -- one where they are known and appreciated as individuals. In this spirit, National Presbyterian School encourages the active involvement of parents in the School, helping to build our warm and loving community.
NPS offers many opportunities to get involved. Events such as Back to School Night, class performances, parent/teacher conferences and assemblies offer an opportunity to see the School in action. All parents of currently enrolled students are automatically members of the Parents Association, a major venue for school volunteerism from being a Room Parent, to chaperoning a field trip, to shelving books in the library, to running a booth at Fall Festival. We are so grateful for these gifts of time and talent. Parents at NPS may also serve on the Board of Trustees and on various committees throughout the School.
We invite you to use our website and the weekly Backpack Express e-newsletter to keep you informed about school life and your child’s experiences here.
