Before & After School Care

Early Birds

The Early Birds program operates from 7:30 to 8 am each day that school is in session. Students of all ages are eligible for this program. Supervision is provided by NPS faculty and staff and students participate in quiet age-appropriate activities.

After 3 Club

After 3 Club is the extended-day program for all NPS students in Pre-Kindergarten 3 to Sixth Grade which operates from 3:15 until to 6 pm daily and 12 – 6 pm on Noon Dismissal Fridays. Students may enroll for an entire school year, a trimester, or specific day(s) of the week.  A team of dedicated staff members organizes daily program activities including arts and crafts, science projects, games, and outdoor time. Students also have free time to play with friends. A snack is served at 4 pm, and a supervised homework period is part of the program for students in Grades 2–6.

Early Birds and After 3 Club also offer a flexible, drop-in option for families who only need occasional supervision.

In addition to reliable, flexible and fun supervision for children after the school day ends, NPS offers enrichment classes through After School Programs (ASPs) to provide athletic, artistic and exploratory experiences to students.
