Lakers basketball has always been a star-studded affair--both on and off the court! In 1969, the Lakers were favored to win the NBA Championship because they had the likes of Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain, and Jerry West, but in what is considered one of the great upsets in NBA history they were beaten by Bill Russell and the Boston Celtics. It is just as exciting 50 years later because of LeBron James and we have two tickets to see him play in LA. Your LA base is the beautiful Mondrian LA in West Hollywood--just a short drive from Lebron's office!

In 1969, there were only about two dozen wineries in Napa Valley; today there are more than 400. Enjoy as many of them as you can during a long weekend trip for two (2) people to one of the great wine regions of the world.
When you're ready to explore those wineries, you'll have a driver waiting for you to ferry you around in a luxury car for four (4) hours. Explore any wineries you want, but to get you started you'll receive certificates for VIP tasting experiences at Larkmead, William Cole and Garbiulo wineries. We have heard that a number of you are spending the night at the Wharf—groovy! The deadline to get the special hotel rate is today! Even if you don't spend the night, we have a special surprise so you will want to stay late!
The Intercontinental at the Wharf was just named the winner of the Conde Nast 2018 Reader's Choice Award as the best hotel in Washington.
We have arranged a special room rate of $229. Saturday, April 13—First Annual NPS Trivia Night
Our fellow schools told us their parents have a ball at their trivia nights and it's time for NPS to join the fun! We have a professional trivia company coming to The Avenue in Chevy Chase, DC on Saturday, April 13 to lead you in a fun night of trivia and prizes. Tickets are $65 for each player and you can sign up during the Silent Auction on March 9!
