Priority Applicants

NPS encourages applications from children of members of National Presbyterian Church, NPS siblings, children of alumni, children of faculty and staff, and National Presbyterian Child Care Center (NPCCC) students. These priority applicants will be given special consideration in the process.

Priority Applicant Process

We ask that Pre-Kindergarten 3 and Pre-Kindergarten 4 Priority constituencies apply by an earlier application deadline of November 25, 2024 and participate in a student visit in December. Teacher recommendation forms are due by December 9, 2024
Priority families applying to Kindergarten and older should follow the regular application schedule. Although the availability of space is not guaranteed in First Grade or above, the Admissions Office will certainly give the highest consideration to priority.

How to Apply

While Priority Applicants are given special consideration in the admissions process, this consideration does not guarantee acceptance. If the Admissions Committee determines that NPS is not a good fit for a priority applicant, issues or concerns will be discussed with the parents in a timely manner.
