About Me: I graduated from NPS in 1995. I remember each of my teachers for a reason: they were truly committed to their students. Family Resides In: Chevy Chase, MD Grade(s) of Child(ren): 6th Grade, 3rd Grade and Kindergarten What we looked for in a school: It was clear with every interaction that NPS was a child-centered school that truly understands its mission. A pre-K through 6th grade school felt like a wonderful way to give them a strong start in a supportive environment that is built for young kids and young families. For a family with three sporty boys, we are also glad that NPS is offering our kids a robust experience in music, drama, and art. What we love about NPS: It is a school populated by exceptionally nice people - teachers and administrators who are warm, engaging, and helpful, both to students and to parents. What we love about NPS: We love the community, which feels like a big family. The teachers truly care about the students and families. The school makes everything from after care to school lunch flexible to accommodate the different needs of families. The curriculum is both rigorous and adaptive. Our son loves going to school every day.
