National Presbyterian Child Care Center

National Presbyterian Child Care Center (NPCCC) is dedicated to providing early childhood education in a nurturing and stimulating environment for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old.

A loving and inclusive community, NPCCC strives to facilitate the social, cognitive and physical development of young children. We work hard to ensure that each child receives the individual attention they need to thrive.

National Presbyterian Child Care Center is located at the corner of Nebraska Avenue and Van Ness Street, NW, near the Tenleytown Metro Station and on the campus shared by The National Presbyterian Church and National Presbyterian School.

Hours of Operation

7:30 am - 6 pm

NPCCC is open Monday - Friday, year-round with the exception of many Federal holidays, as well as National Presbyterian School holidays and staff professional development days.

Benefits of our School & Church Community

Two Children Smiling

NPCCC students are Priority Applicants to Pre-Kindergarten 3 at National Presbyterian School. The Pre-K 3 program at NPS is a wonderful extension of the loving community and rich learning environment parents experience at NPCCC, and students may continue at NPS through its final, 6th Grade year, when they graduate and transition to a range of schools throughout the DC area.

Two Children Playing

NPS Kindergarten and Fifth Grade students visit NPCCC as part of their service learning and social studies curriculum focused on community.  Both younger and older children enjoy playing with one another, and these fun and simple exchanges develop empathy and leadership skills in NPS's older students.
