Lower Division Spanish Teacher | Maternity Leave Substitute

National Presbyterian School, an independent, co-educational elementary school (Nursery—6th Grade) is seeking a Spanish teacher to serve as a part-time maternity leave replacement from early March, 2020, though the end of the school year in early June, 2020.

The Spanish teacher will be responsible for instruction of all students in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and 1st Grade. The position requires 2 hours a day for teaching and planning from the hours of 1:00-3:00 p.m.

In prospective candidates, NPS is looking for educators who have the skills and passion necessary to inspire learning and enhance the overall educational experience by fostering students’ academic, ethical, social, and emotional development in accordance with the National Presbyterian School mission, philosophy, and Core Values.

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree and demonstrate successful experience with pre-primary school-aged children.
