Grants

The Office of Development applies for foundation grants, primarily from local corporate and family foundations. Generally, grants are sought from organizations with values and missions that align with that of NPS and for specific projects which are part of the School’s strategic plan. Past grants have provided funds for faculty salary increases, facilities, financial aid, library acquisitions, and sports equipment.

NPS has been the recipient of generous sustained support from certain foundations, specifically the James M. Johnston Trust for Education and Charitable Giving. We also research new funding possibilities and submit grant applications on behalf of the school. Parents who have personal contacts with foundations are encouraged to contact the Office of Development to plan how to approach the organization on behalf of NPS.
