Swimming at Summer Horizons Camp

Bluebirds, Robins, and Eagles are encouraged to register for instructional swimming provided by the Curl Burke Swim Club at American University. In this program, certified lifeguards provide swimming instruction and supervision to small groups of campers. A limited number of spaces are available and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration is recommended. Swimming fees are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation by Summer Horizons Camp. Registered swimmers are expected to participate in swimming activities each day unless the camp office receives a written excuse from a parent or doctor citing a specific health related problem.

There will be no instructional swimming program during the week of August 11-15, 2008. All campers will participate in regular camp activities at NPS during the last week of camp.
