Summer Horizons Camp

Online registration has begun for Summer 2008!

For more than thirty years, Summer Horizons Camp has offered its campers a safe and exciting program. Guided by an enthusiastic staff, campers develop self-confidence as they explore the world around them, create, investigate, play, try new things, and make new friends.

Summer Horizon Camp’s greatest strength is its staff of experienced, talented, and caring professional educators. These outstanding teachers form the core of our summer team working with mature college and high school students. The staff has full use of the facilities of National Presbyterian School, including air-conditioned classrooms, a gym, music room, science lab, two libraries, outdoor play areas and equipment, and an all-season field.

In addition to an excellent staff and facilities, Summer Horizons Camp offers flexible registration and dismissal times for the busy family. Our 9-week program is divided into several fun-filled themes. Campers may sign up for one week, a combination of weeks, or the whole summer. Additional options offered at camp include early morning drop-off, afternoon extended care, instructional swimming at American University, and group Martial Arts lessons.
