Camp Invention Week 9 (8/18-22): Morphed!
Camp Invention’s “Morphed!” for Grades 1-6 is designed to build Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) skills through a week of high-energy games, building challenges, and sensory exploration. Invent and tinker with circuits and design solutions to nature-based challenges. Use tools to take apart electronics and upcycle the mechanical guts to create the ultimate pinball machine! Build a morphing vehicle that operates on land, in the sea, and underwater. Shoot information down zip-lines to decode a mega-sensory mix-up. Set your imagination free!
Camp Invention Week 10 (8/25-29): Envision
Camp Invention’s “Envision” for Grades 1-6 is designed to build Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) skills through a week of high-energy games, building challenges, and sensory exploration. Explore buoyancy, orienteering and magnetism by navigating handcrafted ships to an island designed and scaled by you. Collaborate with your team to build a tower 100ft high! Use real tools to uncover mechanical gears and guts so you can build your own inventive vision. Learn about innovations and adaptations in history while you analyze and refine your own invention process. Finally, create marketing to sell your device! Where will your dreams take you?

Our half-day soccer camps are designed for those new to the sport. Through drills and games, campers focus on skill development: shooting, passing, trapping, dribbling and defending. Soccer Camp is lead by Jouon’s Kids, a premier DC youth soccer organization whose founder was the 2011 DC Stoddert Travel Coach of the Year.
