Each summer, play and laughter fills the halls and grounds of National Presbyterian School during our annual Summer Horizons Camp program. Our young campers (ages 3 -11) build self-confidence and form friendships while trying new things, investigating the world around them, and sparking their creativity with a range of projects and activities organized around a variety of exciting themes.
Expertly led by talented professional educators and aspiring teachers from NPS and area schools, campers learn and have fun in a warm and nurturing atmosphere. With our steadfast focus on the needs of young children, group sizes are limited, allowing for maximum participation during those fun-filled summer days!
Our Summer Horizons Day Camp programming offers exciting themed activities that change weekly. Optional instructional swimming and early- and aftercare programs are offered most weeks. Sessions are week-long, meaning campers can sign up for a combination of weeks that fits your family’s schedule. Age-appropriate projects and activities are designed specifically for each group, and daily routines allow for plenty of time to bond and explore through creative play, outdoor recess, and access to our water play and Imagination Playground equipment. On Fridays, extra-fun Camp Spirit Day activities are held the enjoyment of each age group, including special guests, theme parties, and field trips. Summer Horizons parents receive a weekly Wednesday newsletter and an invitation to our Friday parent gallery.
Summer Horizons Camp is a special summer community, and we are pleased to welcome you to join us for another memorable experience. So come along with us as we near 50 years of playing, splashing, and learning on our sunny campus.
