School Life

One of the qualities that defines NPS is its sense of community. We embrace a common set of values centered upon the belief that both children and adults deserve to move comfortably in an environment that feels safe and familiar -- one where they are respected and appreciated as individuals. Toward that end, the school day and the calendar reflects many community-building programs and activities encompassed by School Life.

In addition, School Life activities reflect our belief that learning should not stop at the classroom door. Through the many NPS traditions, Chorus and Handbell Choirs, our interscholastic athletic program, the After 3 Club, After School Classes, assemblies and chapels, our Buddy and Mentor Programs and the work of the PTA, NPS offers a rich experience for all school constituencies within and outside the regular school day.
