Assemblies and Chapels

Assemblies and chapel services offer wonderful opportunities to renew and celebrate the vibrant NPS community and to recognize individual students' special gifts and talents. Parents are welcome to attend all assemblies and services.

Students attend monthly assemblies at 8:45 a.m. in Jones Hall the first Thursday of each month. At this time, the entire community comes together to sing, share learning experiences and hear school news important to all. Throughout the school year, each grade also presents a special program for parents and students.

Upper School Chapel (Grades 1-6) is held on the remaining Thursdays at 8:45 am in the Chapel of the Presidents at NPC. Grade 6 has the privilege of leading this service, and parents are always welcome.

Lower School Chapel (Nursery - Kindergarten) is held Wednesdays at 8:45 am in the Music Room.

Chapel is a time to nurture the NPS school community's spiritual life through quiet reflection, song, and the study of life lessons found in Scripture. The school year is also marked by special all-school services for Opening Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Graduation held in the Main Sanctuary of The National Presbyterian Church.
